Amazing Specifications MacBook Pro 2021

Apple announced the specs and prices of the new 2021 MacBook Pro at its Apple Event Monday night (18/10).
The manufacturer from the United States (USA) has released two models with 14- and 16-inch screens. Both of these laptops use the new Apple M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets.

Both chipsets support up to 10 CPU cores with eight high-performance cores and two efficient chips. So these two chipsets are 70 percent faster than the M1. Also, the graphics capabilities are called 7 times faster than the integrated graphics of MSI GP66 Leopard.

The M1 Pro chipset has a 16-core GPU that Apple promises will be twice as fast as the M1 for graphics processing. The memory bandwidth of this chipset is 200GB/s, which is almost three times the performance of the M1 and 32GB RAM. The M1 Pro chipset with a 5 nanometer architecture has 33.7 billion transistors, twice that of the M1.

Although the performance of the M1 Max is faster than the Pro. The memory bandwidth of this chipset is 400GB/s, which is twice as high as the M1 Pro and six times faster than the M1. The M1 Max can also be configured with up to 64GB of RAM and has 57 billion transistors.

The CPU of this chipset has the same 10 cores as the M1 Pro. However, the performance of the embedded GPU is four times faster than the M1 GPU. According to Apple, the M1 Max is on par with the performance of the Razer Blade 15 Advance but with 40 percent more battery efficiency.

The Razer Blade is a gaming laptop using an 11th generation Intel processor and equipped with NVidia GeForce RTX 30 graphics.

With this strong performance, Apple says the MacBook Pro can meet a variety of user design and editing needs. For example, video analysis for tracking objects using Final Cut Pro can be up to five times faster than using M1.

In terms of the screen, Apple has cropped a lot of bezels (the edges of the screen) to make the screen look wider. The bezels surrounding the screen are only 3.5 millimeters wide. Frame size is 24 percent thinner than before. The upper bezel is 60 percent thinner. The screen used is miniLED.

As a result, there is a notch (explosion) at the top of the screen to house the camera system. It’s similar to the notch that Apple fixed for the iPhone X in 2017.
For the 14-inch version, Apple places a 120 Hertz display with HDR support. Apple has also added an SD card slot and HDMI. This laptop weighs about 2.3 kilograms for the 16-inch series and is 16.8 millimeters thick. It weighs 1.7 kilograms at 14 inches and is 15.5 millimeters thick.
Also, this MacBook Pro no longer has a Touch Bar. Instead, the Pro keyboard has the physical array of function keys that many users want. The keyboard is surrounded by silver aluminum with a very wide trackpad.

The camera in the notch has also been upgraded. The camera has a 1080p resolution with a wider aperture and a larger image sensor. As a result, this camera can provide better performance when used in low light conditions.

Apple also embeds computational video for this webcam, including noise reduction, face detection using machine learning technology, face mapping, auto white balance, auto exposure, and smart HDR features.

While some of these features have been added, the webcam embedded in the MacBook Pro isn’t very special. Apple has also not added a FaceID feature to this camera, as reported by The Verge.

For audio, the 16-inch Macbook Pro has six speakers with two tweeters and four noise canceling woofers. This speaker promises an 80 percent better bass boom.

For ports, Apple provides this MacBook Pro with a MagSafe port for charging. But users can also charge from USB-C. On the right are the headphone ports, SD Card, HDMI, Thunderbolt 4 and on the left are two additional Thunderbolt ports.

Apple also promises long battery life of up to 17 hours on the 14-inch model and 21 hours on the 16-inch model. The fast charger allows this laptop to charge up to 50 percent in 30 minutes. The 14- and 16-inch versions are available with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets, as reported by Gizmodo.

Apple is already open for pre-orders and the device will begin shipping on October 26. MacBook Pro prices start at $1,999 (Rp 28.2 million; exchange rate Rp 14,129.15) for the 14-inch version and $2,499 (Rp 30.3 million) for the 16-inch version.
